You Said, We Did: Quality Care Check-in – September 2026

Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent Quality Care Check-in. We received responses from 18 of 20 staff members, achieving a 90% response rate. The feedback demonstrated a strong understanding of person-centred care, choice, independence and good care practice.

It was also encouraging to see that 17 of 18 respondents said they always feel comfortable asking for help, with the remaining respondent selecting “usually”.

You Said

You told us you value:

  • Supportive and approachable management
  • Feeling listened to, respected and able to communicate openly
  • Helpful and supportive colleagues
  • Recognition for your contribution
  • A positive and welcoming working environment
  • A strong commitment to person-centred care and making a meaningful difference

You also identified some individual areas where additional guidance or refresher support would be beneficial.

We Did

In response, we will:

  • Review individual learning needs and provide additional guidance where required
  • Reinforce good practice through supervision, training, observations and competency checks
  • Maintain an open and supportive culture where staff feel comfortable asking for help
  • Continue monitoring key areas through existing governance and audit processes
  • Repeat Quality Care Check-ins periodically to monitor confidence, knowledge and staff views
  • Review staff suggestions and identify practical actions where appropriate

Thank You

Your feedback is an important part of our quality assurance process.

It helps us recognise what we are doing well, identify opportunities for further development and ensure staff continue to feel supported, listened to and confident in delivering safe, person-centred care.
